Firefighters swiftly responded to the Salvation Army in Hanover Township on Saturday morning after receiving reports of an explosion in the vicinity, accompanied by visible flames. Upon arrival, emergency crews discovered that a malfunctioning transformer for the building had ignited a fire at the point where the power supply entered the structure.
Diligent efforts were undertaken by the response teams to access the roof and locate any remaining pockets of fire, subsequently extinguishing them. This meticulous operation continued for approximately 2 hours, and by 12:15, the scene was declared safe, with all individuals accounted for and unharmed.
