The Hanover Township Fire Department is excited to announce the recent order of a new E-One Fire Trucks HR100 Aerial Ladder, a critical addition to the department's fleet, aimed at enhancing fire safety and response capabilities for the community. The new apparatus was ordered from First Choice Fire Apparatus and is made possible by the generous support of the Hanover Township Board of Commissioners, Township Manager Sam Guesto, and a $500,000.00 Local Share Account grant from the state of Pennsylvania.

The new HR100 Aerial Ladder is designed to provide enhanced reach and flexibility in responding to fires, rescues, and other emergencies. With a 100-foot ladder, it will significantly improve the department's ability to access difficult-to-reach areas, assist in multi-story rescues, and support firefighting efforts in the township's growing community.

We are grateful for the support of the Hanover Township Board of Commissioners, Township Manager, and the state of Pennsylvania for making this important investment in our fire department, This new aerial ladder truck will not only improve our ability to protect our residents but will also enhance the safety of our firefighters as they respond to critical incidents.

The $500,000 Local Share Account grant, awarded by the state of Pennsylvania, plays a crucial role in funding the purchase of the new aerial ladder, reducing the financial burden on the township and ensuring that the department remains well-equipped to serve the community’s growing needs.

The Hanover Township Fire Department has long been committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and emergency preparedness. The addition of the E-One Fire Trucks HR100 Aerial Ladder marks another milestone in the department's efforts to stay ahead of the demands of an expanding community and provide top-notch service to the residents of Hanover Township.

The new apparatus is expected to be delivered and put into service in 2027.
